Imagine another class here at HNI has not played this game before. Complete the rules below to clearly describe the aim of the game and exactly what the rules are.
Aim of the game:
Rules:
  1. In a court, or large area, you line up something in a plus sign high enough that you can’t roll the ball under it but low enough to throw it over on your tosh.
  2. You have sit on your tosh at all times or else you get a point.
  3. There is 1 ball for each corner of people.
  4. If you get all four balls on your side you get a point like golf the least amount of points is better.
  5. The team with the most points losses the game.

Game Adaptations
Use your creative thinking to explore possible adaptations to this game to enhance both the fun factor and the ability to win the game. I have given you one example for each category but challenge yourself with other ideas and thinking.

Attack
Defence
Game Plan/Strategy
  • Use balls other than netballs that aren’t as heavy so the speed of the travelling ball also speeds up the game.
  • Aim for the far corners.
  • 4 players from each quad are allowed to sit on the bleaches to stretch with their arms and intercept flying balls.
  • Make the walls or whatever you’re using to divide the corners taller than usual.
  • People on the perimeter of the quad pass the ball to someone closer to the bleaches to allow them to throw it further into the opponent's area.
  • Team up with other teams to target one specific corner. (Communication with other teams could allow you to really target a team that is winning as strength comes in numbers).
